Very Disappointed September 6, 2010 Jeanne I bought the Coby TFTV1022 10.2 Inch LCD TV for my mother to use in the kitchen. We were happy with it until about a year and a half later when the screen would suddenly turn and stay white . The reply that I received from Amazon was to contact Coby. The reply that I received from Coby was that I would have to get it repaired at my own expense. We are very disappointed in Coby and Amazon.
Very good value for the price August 27, 2010 ISABEL Purchased the Coby TV for my kitchen and I am very happy with it...I live in Canada and it works just fine with a Rogers Box; picture and sound are good and overall good value for the price I paid. Only wish that Amazon would ship to Canada, as I had it shipped to a friend in the US....
Very Disappointed August 12, 2010 BoxerMom Just after using it for one year from the date of purchase, the picture on the TV disappeared. Up to that point, we loved it! The sound is fine so we can hear the early morning news and weather. Very disappointed as it is the perfect size TV for our kitchen nook....plan to take it to a TV repair shop to see if anything can be done to get the picture back. If not, it's in the trash! Tried to contact company, but no luck!
Does not replace our obsolete kitchen tv May 23, 2010 Stephen D. Pearce Works fine hooked up to an outside roof antenna. Does not work at all with any of Radio Shack's recommended indoor antenna's. Because there is no good way to route an antenna feed from the roof to the kitchen, this tv (and others like it that we have tried) is useless. Wish we could go back to analog!
It didn't last! May 20, 2010 S. Stitt (Peachtree City, GA) I bought this TV in November of 2008 and used it as a counter top television for our kitchen. It just died. We took it to a repair shop and they said it needs a new 'mother' board. We enjoyed it while it worked, but expected it to last longer than a year and a half.
